Your guide will lead the way as you load the E-bikes and head 20 kilometers north from the lodge by pickup truck. From there, enjoy an exhilarating E-bike tour that follows a beautiful riverside route, gradually descending back toward your accommodation. It’s a journey that lets you feel the full power of nature—fresh air, open landscapes, and the freedom of the ride.

Pick up a bento from a popular local shop and enjoy a relaxing outdoor lunch. If you prefer, you can also dine at a delicious nearby restaurant..
13:00 E-bike tour start
Cycle toward your lodging while taking in the view of a beautiful river. Along the way, birds gliding through the sky and flowers blooming by the roadside offer delightful moments of discovery.

You can brew coffee outdoors or stop by a cozy café for a relaxing tea break. Whatever you prefer, we’ll tailor the experience for you—let’s enjoy a short but delightful moment of rest.
15:00 Arrive at Higenos
After cycling roughly 20 kilometers, you’ll return to your lodging feeling completely refreshed—your mind clear, your body recharged, and your spirit renewed.

In the small castle town of Gujo Hachiman, traditional Japanese buildings still line the streets, and everyday life unfolds much as it has for generations. This guided E-bike tour takes you through the town’s narrow lanes, offering an intimate look at local life. As you ride, soak in the charm of the beautifully preserved streets and discover the quiet rhythms of this timeless community.

The tour begins at the charming little Gujo-Hachiman Station. From there, you’ll follow a riverside path that leads toward the heart of the town, cycling alongside the flowing water as the scenery gradually opens into a lively, historic center.
10:30 The Townscape of Gujo Hachiman
Lined with nostalgic old buildings, the town offers a charm completely different from Tokyo or Osaka. Here, you can experience the warmth and quiet beauty of a small Japanese community—an atmosphere that feels both timeless and deeply authentic.
11:00 Carry you into a bygone era
Your guide will lead you to scenic viewpoints, charming historic buildings, and serene Japanese gardens that are sure to move you. Each stop feels like stepping into a cinematic world, inviting you to experience beauty in its most captivating form.
12:00 A Time‑Telling Ritual
We’ll stop by a local temple and ring the bell that signals noon to the townspeople—a truly special experience. Long ago, before clocks were common, this very sound was how people knew the time.
12:30 A relaxing break to wrap up the tour
We’ll stop by one of the town’s popular shops for a light snack and a relaxing tea break. Their freshly made dango is a local favorite. If you prefer, your guide can take you to a different spot that suits your taste.
